Uno Trumm, Kunda, Estonia, summer 2023

​

While shooting a documentary about the network of Jewish forced labor camps in the Baltics during the 40s Nazi occupation, I was working with historian Uno Trumm to uncover the site of the housing complexes where the laborers lived. After the arrival of the Soviet forces, these structures where repurposed to house Estonian prisoners captured by the Soviet forces.

 

Today, the remains of the building are hidden in the serene countryside.
